Kids Art Classes in Miami Painting & Drawing Art Classes for Children

We teach art classes to children 6 years old and up - All classes are semi-private (No groups). One instructor works maximum with four students at the hour and everyone is working on different projects.

Needless to say that the art education one of the very important aspects of the overall development of children.
When kids get to practice following through with artistic endeavors that result in a finished product, they learn to associate dedication with a feeling of accomplishment. They practice developing skills, visual analysis and imagination along with healthy work habits of being on time for the class, respecting the contributions of others, and putting effort into the success of the final piece.

At Sofia Art Academy, children follow our four-level program's curriculum, under supervision of master-teachers, rather than being left to free experimentation. Kids accomplish a variety of artistic exercises designed to help them acquire and master certain fundamental skills such as precise drawing, correct values, perspectives, proportions and color balance. These skills give students the necessary tools to express their ideas and visions through the realistic painting and drawing for their current and future creative work.
